What to include in an export enquiry

Six details that let us price your order in one reply instead of five: model codes, quantities, destination, Incoterms, timing and documents.

The fastest quotes start with a complete enquiry. When we have these six details up front, we can confirm price and availability in one reply.

1. Brand and model code

Product names vary between markets, but model codes don't. "Sony WH-1000XM5" or "Philips QP220/51" tells us exactly which item, colour and pack you mean. If you have a supplier's product code (such as P/C 3992 for Old Spice Lionpride 140 ml), include it.

2. Quantity per model

Give a quantity for each model, in units or cartons. If you're flexible, give a range. Mixed-brand orders are welcome, so list everything you need in one enquiry.

3. Destination country and port

Tell us the country and, if you know it, the port or airport. This decides the documents and the freight options.

4. Incoterms

Say whether you want EXW (you collect from our warehouse in India), FOB (we deliver to the port or airport of export) or CIF (we arrange freight and insurance to your port).

5. Timing

Let us know when you need the goods to ship, so we can plan stock and consolidation.

6. Documents

Every shipment includes a commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. If your market or bank needs anything more, tell us at the start.
